A brand new world.
A place that she was lost in.
Nagato Yuki wasn't... exactly surprised that she got lost, even though it wasn't something that occurred often. And the fact that a weird looking robot was following her everywhere she went was not helping her predicament. In fact, it was making things a lot worse.
It didn't help that it was difficult to make any sort of communication with the— thing, or with anybody she knew back home. Sure, she had a cell phone, but every time she saw the words "No Service", she wanted to crawl back into her hole.
"Don't worry," came the robotic, monotone voice of the Kukuwamon next to her, trying to say that it's alright, and that - "Maybe your friends are here."
Without saying another word, without even asking where she was - though she was blatantly ignoring most of what her 'partner' was saying, instead glancing at the streets of Neon City, desperately searching for a friend.
"Where are you?"

"I'm sorry!" it said. "I'm very confused... I wasn't watching where I was going..."

Nagato's voice was soft as she took a step forward and turned around, facing the upperclassman who (at least, in her world) was in the calligraphy club.
Of course, nobody knew about her sudden change in personality outside the literary club. And her mind was racing -
What if people knew that she was wrong? What if she was judged? She was lucky enough that both Asakura-san and Kyon were nice.
But...
"No, I'm sorry. I spaced out as well."

"Y-Yuki-chan?!" she cried, standing up with a start. "Oh my god! You're here! You're back!"

"Back...?"
It was obvious that she would be confused. After all, she had never been in such a weird world. She would remember it otherwise.

She’ll step to the side to reveal the somewhat robotic Digimon next to her.
“I don’t think this is the… Piyomon-san that you’re looking for, Asahina-senpai.”

Mikuru stared, jaw hanging open... until realization dawned upon her.
"You're... not the version of Yuki-chan I know, are you?" she said, sadly.

Those words again.
Nagato was somewhat distraught about this situation - she knew that she wasn't the Yuki that this Asahina-senpai wanted.
"Sorry."
That was all she could do. Apologize repeatedly. She wasn't the Nagato Yuki that everyone was looking for. Even if she did feel that she was still a part of "Nagato Yuki".

"It's just... well, this is complicated," she said. "Have you ever heard of alternate universes?"
